Great looking helmet but…

Bought this helmet at a x scooter shop a few months ago and I feel like I had to submit a review. For the price I paid for I was expecting something on the rather more durable side, instead I have found huge wear and tears which made me think that the materials of the helmet are literally as cheap as they could be and this is not an exaggeration. I have used it a lot fine. But the plastic casing around it has already cracked in several places and this is from me just wearing it normally which I think it is totally unacceptable for the price range because I know the minute I crash that be will the lights gone with the chasis completely. On the plus side side the lights are still working after months however they are slightly dimmer than when I first bought it (which is to be expected from LEDs). All and all, the helmet does what it is supposed to do and it does add a huge safety bonus when riding a scooter, however I found that the remote for the indicator lights is practically unusable, the buttons are rather small and they are encased in this thick rubber which makes them practically unreachable as you need to be precise in order to press the button and I found it to be quite literally impossible to do when riding an e-scooter at 12 mph. It is hard, not easy and took my eyes off the road for too long so I stopped using the remote completely. Forget about being able to press it wearing leather gloves, it would be impossible.

For now I am going to carry on using my helmet but will definitely look to buy a different alternative helmet when this one falls apart next week!
